IME accounting on biweekly is *more* complicated than twice a month. I mean, a biweekly schedule aligns with absolutely nothing else a business encounters!
My crank theory is that biweekly is a conspiracy implemented by payroll processing Co's to collect fees more frequently.
(Also it's changing to being paid a week in arrears, and this all starts January, so our first 2025 paycheck on Jan 10 will only have Jan 1-3 on it. They are offering an advance if you need one, but it's still shitty to do right after the holidays IMO.)
I would be fine with monthly too! this "some months you get 2 paychecks and twice you'll get 3 and who knows which day it falls on" is bullshit for sure.
