When I was still in charge of this I would often switch month by month in ordinary time or season by season. I wanted the words to get written in the heart. ❤️

Seasonally is my practice as someone shaping folks to go into parishes where they could find anything, but my sponsoring priest used the same one year-round (except for Maundy Thursday, for reasons) bc his philosophy was the liturgy should be as constant as possible so it can sink into your bones

Family size church. Green season—Euch. A., Euch. B for other seasons. Sometimes Euch. C for funerals and Easter.
EOW for non-principle services. Iona and New Zealand prayer books on rotation for Morning Prayer.

Our previous bishop demanded A for all his visits. Our current bishop 🧡 will use whatever the hosting parish is using.

We rotate by liturgical season and change 1/2 way through Pentecost.

It REALLY depends on the congregation--resources, their expectations, etc.
In a very small church with a musician who wasn't very at ease with the liturgy, I used prayer A for a couple of years straight. Other places I'd shift by season.
At seminary chapel, it would be daily.

Roughly according to the liturgical season, because we change musical settings and other prayers roughly-seasonally, too. Feels long enough to have a sense of continuity and for the words to soak in with people, but not so long that it becomes The Way We've Always Done It And Can Never Do Otherwise.

B most of the year. A for Advent and Lent. C only if requested b/c I don't care for it. D is really long but I've used it on All Souls. Mostly just for variety. Though I doubt most people really notice it care all that much and we could probably use the same one all the time without any detriment.
