Partially it's an old FPL superstition. More practically, if your cap bombs in early game, you end up hate watching the rest of the GW & rooting against the highly owned portion of your own squad. Eg, I own Salah/Palmer. Will watch tomorrow praying the high EO doesn't bury my rank if both haul.
