PP's biggest problem is his inability to pivot. He has had SO MANY chances to do so, like taking back the center when the Libs went left. It was wide open but instead he did the GOP/CPC Double-Down and went further right and is now paying the price.

Either he is a buffoon or his handlers are.

I've said this regularly to my spouse who has insisted PP was going to be our next PM bc the Libs are just too xyz. Most ppl don't follow PP closely. They don't see the seemingly innocuous things he says/does that cumulatively add up to someone profoundly unlikable. They're now getting to know him.
