I just reread it, as your post nudged my memory. I cry easily, lately. Black strength in today's political climate, a climate infused with the few, the powerful albeit disrespected, emboldened wealthy. Resist and oppose. Strength in numbers.

It is amazing. I had the honour of spending an ENTIRE afternoon with Ms. Angelou when she was visiting Jamaica and doing book readings and signings. She was so cool, so natural and just her beautiful self!
