Idealism is part of the left belief system. And idealism is always preyed on by opportunists. And let's face it, there is plenty of opportunity right now for people who are willing to cash in with evil.

Good point. Idealism is definitely one of our great characteristics, but must be counterbalanced with skepticism and at this point, must conduct opposition research on candidates.
