Wear comfy clothes in layers (planes can get breezy), bring headphones and earplugs, snacks, something to read/watch (sometimes I watch the movies they have available on the plane, but I've put full movies on my phone too π ). A power bank if you use your phone to watch movies!
And bring a purse or bag small enough to put under the seat in front of you, so you can have all the necessities there and you don't have to get up to get things from the overhead compartment all the time. But other than that, get up and stretch your legs every now and then.
Compression stockings. I like to take off my shoes and put on big fluffy socks after sitting down, and then keep either slippers or the shoes available for bathroom visits. Walking up and down the aisle every now and then.
Scarves and shawls are great - both for heat regulation which can sometimes be tricky, and also for wrapping around your head to create a little safe dark cocoon. OK, I suppose an eyemask would work too, but a shawl can also be bunched up around your neck for a little head support. Multitool!
This is horrible from a waste perspective, but I buy a cheap shitty β¬3 pair from Tedi or Flying Tiger or IKEA and figure that if I lose them itβs fine
Compression socks! Non-online media in case there are issues with in flight wifi or movies/tv. Skincare & a toothbrush, either for the layover or an in-flight refresh. Comfortable soft clothing, no jeans, easy on-off shoes. A fully charged powerbank and charging cord.
Antibacterial wipes to wipe down your seat, headrest, armrests, window shade, seatback, and tray table. KN95 face masks. Water bottle you can refill after security. Neck pillow of your choice and eye mask or light scarf to cover your eyes if you plan on sleeping. Good ear plugs or headphones.
