I love Ethel Cain's new album.

But I also unironically enjoy Silent Hill soundtracks front to back with no skips, even the weird droning and grinding tracks. It's that vibe.

And there's always intention behind that sound. It's usually not to be edgy. It's unsettling because it intended to be.
