We need a word for "the (alleged) left", the people who occupy left wing parties but have no intention of implementing left wing policy. The "centrists" who march relentlessly right chasing the middle of an Overton window that their actions allow to keep moving right.
fun gordo story: friend of a friend was brown's assistant in the 90s. Heard a shout followed by an almighty crash coming from his office, ran through and found the telly lying face down on the floor, glass everywhere, gordo looked at her and said [gordon brown voice] "uhh i think it's uh broken"
I was so fucking mad he didn't double down, that dusty aul' bat should have had a LAW named after her - the cowardice of Labour under Blair was infectious.
