We don't have a Deck specific build, it just detects it's running on a Steam Deck and acts accordingly 👍🏻

We use Rewired (control input plugin) which identifies the controller (in this case the Steam Deck) and the correct icons are allocated from there Steve 👍🏻

I've played the demo. Amazing visuals. In general, the whole Greek island offers such lovely aesthetics. The gods are hilarious, too. I love their grunts and reactions.

I'm not sure they made the difference, but the two things I did were:-

- Once our game build was approved, I sent a support request asking it to be considered for verification.

- I added 'Developer Info' to the Steam Deck section of our Steam page (see below)

I hate this iffy hand-wavy bs non-process they have for getting things verified. We've had full deck support since before launch and it's still in the "still getting to know" stage. jfc how hard is it to put an actual process in place for verification??

Especially given that the steam deck filters look at the verified information by default. It's so weird, did they not think that games would need to get verified when they built those filters? Did they assume it just magically worked or something? So weird.

Hey Kyle. I added 'Developer Info' to the Steam Deck section of our Steam Page before launch so I don't know if that helped.

I also sent a support request a few weeks before launch once our build was given the all clear, asking to be considered.

We launched a new edition of our game back in Aug, and part of that was making sure we ticked all the boxes for the Steam Deck and I was frustrated by the lack of docs on how to actually get verified for the thing. I'll try firing off a support request. Cheers!

Because it does run great on the Steam Deck! This year at Gamescom, we were running Mad Devils docked to the big TV's, with two controllers for the coop and it ran fantastic! Steam Deck is so handy to bring to events compared to lugging a huge, gaming laptop around everywhere.

I've not played it on there myself but as we're running at 60fps on Steam Deck with ease, Xbox should be even more smooth and buttery 👍🏻
