The idea of horseshoes being lucky comes partly from the tale of Saint Dunstan the blacksmith. When the Devil entered his shop, Dunstan nailed a horseshoe to his hoof. He took it off once the Devil agreed to never enter a home with a horseshoe over the door. #MythologyMonday
