It's unfortunate you have that perspective. I'd guess a lot of folks do too.

My Dad was an Army Colonel after WWII. I have the flag off my brother's casket from Vietnam. All I can say is they and the people around us took their oaths very seriously. I do have faith in the real professionals.

Yes. It's deeply unfortunate. But reality based. The regime didn't rise until after the WWII and Korea vets were/are gone. I do have more faith in the officer corps, particularly Marines. The enlisted ranks...no faith at all.
