This study did not measure all of your listed data points, & it def didn’t measure “every metric available”. Actually it specifically didn’t look at some of those things. The study itself states it isn’t proof of a causal relationship.

There is inherent bias in the labeling of the policies as liberal vs conservative, & the allocation of these cannot be confirmed because they didn’t explicitly state them. The authors also specifically omitted variables which left is heavily scrutinized for. Dozens of biases/limitations not listed.

Just not having health insurance will shorten a person’s life. You don’t go to the doctor until it becomes something really serious, which probably wouldn’t have been a big deal if treated early on. It doesn’t matter how great the healthcare is, if you can’t afford to access it.

I supposedly have good health insurance. But every time I use it I end up with medical debt. Not as bad as if I didn't but still hundreds of dollars in debt because of the stupid games they play - copays, deductibles, in/out of network, denials. And we treat that sh*t like it's normal.
