I wish mine would just stare and wait till I was done but no they get in and try to use it while Iβm cleaning so then I have to wait for them. And thereβs two of them so I have to do this at least twice.
When I had 3 cats and the only place for their litter box was in the bathroom, every time Iβd draw a nice bath with bath oils, scented candles, play soft music, every cat, one at a time, would come in and take a giant smelly poop, sometimes more than once.
True π€£β¦ oh the condescension.. itβs emotional and physical. How do they do that? They love looking down on youβ¦ PEASANTS! Once woke up to my cat glowering at me, was laid up for a week with a broken ankle, and he slapped me! My bro wasnβt as attentive with the cleaning of litter box or food bowls.
Yes...my fave is the (former) tom cat who showed up 6 months ago from who-knows-where RUNNING back in to use the litterbox, vigorously burying his deposit, tossing litter everywhere...then back outside
My girl never gets that close; I know why! But boy, right when I finish cleaning it, her highness gets right in and does her thing. Sheβs lucky I luv her π
My mum is the one who changes the litter at my house, but this is definitely how it feels when it's feeding time - if they're not hiding upstairs in her room, that is XD
I had a cat. Yup dumps right after you clean it. So I gave it a light stir and put just a scoop of fresh litter in to trick it. Cat immediately dropped a deuce. Haha tricked ya! Cleaned it completelyβ¦cat went in totally forced out another one. Then I got a dog
The sound of the poop filled litter bag shaking is the clarion call for all cats gastrointestinal and urinary systems to become active and ready to go.
Never fails one of my cats jumps right in after I finish cleaning it, even if they donβt have to go, they gonna mess up that fresh litter somehow. My Sasha digs in it like a kid in a sandbox, getting litter everywhere. Sheβs such a lady except for litter boxes. π
The kittens at the rescue where I volunteer like to decide suddenly whatever litter box Iβm scooping is the hotspot and so I have a similar experience except I am looking down at themβ¦ I like feeling so cool that everybody wants to be where I am, it just makes it Difficult to harvest their poosπΉππ»π
Really? Mine are usually knocking the scoop out of my hand, sitting on my lap or my shoulder, chasing each other through the litter or trying to get into the bag. However the snooty looks are good- you must have some pretty cool catsπ
I have a regular litter box and a robotic one. I have two cats that prefer the regular litter box and the others I have that could care less as long they have a box of litter. I wish all my kitties would use the robo litter box but oh well.
Our newest kitten actively digs the litter out while the litter box is being cleaned. Someone literally has to hold her because she always has this sudden and aggressive urge to dig out her turds before anyone else can.
My rowdy cat, Loki the Destroyer (the Mau), will attack me, after the litter replacement! Iβve got scars, behind my right knee- his preferred target!
