Potentially there is a circular process which overall removes atmospheric carbon while producing food, energy and fertilizer which doesn't rely on agrochemicals made from fossil fuels. Now let me think who would consider that a bad idea...

Yep same thing in Australia. Someone’s posted a photograph of Bovaer’s safety data sheet and people are losing their minds with all sorts of claims re safety concerns when clearly they don’t know how to read the SDS. I offered but was shut down! It’s hard being a scientist these days … sigh

Possibly, but I still need it for some academic stuff and for family dementia reasons.

I'm sure you know this, but the best advice I read was: don't expect facts to change the minds of people who didn't use facts to reach their original conclusion. Sadly a lot of people aren't so keen on facts right now. And how on earth we reach them is beyond me.

Some people use "facts" to arrive at conclusions. They are, in one regard, thinking logically, just based on incorrect information.

But once they glom onto the conclusions they are happy with, anything contradictory must be incorrect, so your *facts* can't supersede their "facts".

I get it - I know businesses that still use FB because it's essential to their model, and we can't fault that. But engaging outside of your requirements isn't just a waste of time.

Necessary evils are still evils, and minimizing engagement is a good goal.
