Within 5 minutes of starting Astro Bot I could understand why it won GOTY - it's gorgeous, it's silly and funny, it's a stage clear Mario game that understands the assignment. Metaphor might have been my personal GOTY, but I can understand why a lot of people needed Astro right now.
