I’ve been tracking my indoor air quality and noticed some high PM2.5 spikes, so I’m considering getting an air purifier. I’m particularly interested in something that’s effective for a medium to large room, quiet, and looks OK.

Does anyone here have experience with air purifiers? Any recommendations based on real-world use? Would also love to hear about placement strategies and whether using multiple smaller units is better than one big one.
Yes - I am in the IAQ business with focus on health. A good study shows 2 smaller better than 1 large.
Intellipure is made by Health Way and the small unit is on Amazon for $100 and retails for $550 but they are overstocked so reducing inventory
Got it. Just be very careful to clean filters and change them at least at recommended interval if not sooner. I’ve tested many brands and only a handful deliver long term. Most are almost a waste.
I purchased an Intellipure 468 just before the pandemic It was working fine until yesterday. I changed the (expensive) filters and now it won't turn on. The company says it can't be fixed and suggested I buy a new one. I don't recommend this company's products.
I don’t have any economic interest in this but I have recommended the smaller Compacts to my customers and have had excellent results. I think the 468 has a 5 year warranty so sounds like just out of warranty. Sorry you had just bought the filters.
