we've been hearing that for months though... at the very least the broken items need to be found and removed, because the repository is only going to get bigger and worse the longer this goes on

hot take, honestly, is that they just don't care. they had all the time in the world to take down a censored version of Thatcher's Techbase but can't get rid of the dozens of uploads of My House or, ya know, their own commercial iwads.

I get moderation is a hard job but they had a system in place to vet stuff and when they dropped it, the hundreds of broken and stolen wads flooded in. it wouldn't be hard to reimplement this system. it'd piss people off but it'd be better than whatever this is.

Yeah like ignoring any issues with credits etc.

Theirs broken stuff, duplicates, it's a nightmare to browse and nearly impossible to find specific stuff to the point you have to upload it yourself.
