@bsky.art is not officially part of Bluesky, but they are doing a decent job of maintaining individual feeds based on different media. These work much much better for me than their Trending and Discover Artist feeds. Check them out.

Thank you for the shout out. To be 100% candid, I’m not sure how to best handle those three main artists feeds right now (trending, new and discover) and trying to come up with a better way. I imagined those as general feeds all artists can post to but it’s gotten a bit messy.
I suspect that you're casting too wide a net. That, and the fact that nontraditional art is so much more popular on here than the old school stuff I am looking for. Not enough distinguishes the two to easily codify the search, and sticking to media does an adequate job. That and some blocking.
I chatted briefly with the team helping host these and hoping sometime soon to be able to weight searches differently so the general artist feeds are more of a mixed bag.
And lmk if you come across any spam accounts, I can exclude them from all the feeds
Also time may fix some issues. I think digital artists had a big head start over traditional artists on Bluesky. The migration from Instagram of old timey artists in the past month has been insane. Things may balance out.
Unrelated, but I noticed you're sometimes in Asheville - if you're ever in the Triangle, I made this website with local live art events (still adding more) https://ncartmeets.com/

With that I will leave you to your business.
