A mafia-like struggle for global power has begun, with rules that do not suit America. Other countries are already planning for a lawless era https://econ.st/3DbeFFe

It's not a "new world order." It's the accelerated collapse of the old world order. A new world order will only be possible once trump has been destroyed. I am amazed at how clueless establishment journalists are in this moment of crisis.
You spent the run up to the election normalising his rhetoric and downplaying the dangers of his reelection. Now you feign shock at the prospect of a “lawless era”, whilst still fêting him with macho imagery. Shame on the Economist. It will be a relief tomorrow when my subscription expires.
Apt article headline is paired with an utterly inappropriate cover art inspired by theatrical posters of Quentin Tarantino's film "Reservoir Dogs". Trump and the other strongmen are losers and parasites, and this image is making them look cool. Come on, Economist, do better.
@economist.com What if all these cuts in the US and Tariffs aim at having the money to create MUSK's armada of 8 Billion Robocops to control dissidents and the masses? 🤖
This cover definitely sets the wrong tone for what’s going on in politics and suggests a Hollywood, entertainment or sensationalist spin on his image. Something he would love and is graphically irresponsible.
