I have pointed out that it might be a VERY big stretch, and probably isn't a reference at all, but in the street with the American Sonic and other Canons references, there's a Sign that says "FREEDOM" Maybe a reference to the Freedom Fighters? Again big stretch, but too much coincidence.
it's also hard to say since it doesn't look like the second half says fighter and there are alot of signs that are just real world brands with small tweaks. But if you're right its the first explicit reference to them in a while.
Well I don't think they would directly write "Freedom Fighters" maybe they changed it to look like something else like the "Meh Burger" being "Nhe Burger"! But yeah definitely very coincidencial!
