I dont see whats wrong with the ERA idea.
Seems reasonably conservative.
The money just gets used as a unchanged resource to pay down a loan.
It frees up more money than the interest while leaving the assets as frozen.
Seems pretty clever.

I've previously suggested the consequences of seizing Russian assets are bad. I've not changed my mind on that, but I have on whether it should be done. It now should, as we are in an all-out struggle.

I’am quite positive about Ukraine. The whole Russian army bogged down & nicely trapped in a small landstrip outside their country ready to eliminated. No need for US. With EU help, LET THE ENDGAME BEGIN.
