The exemption is being challenged in court, but right now that is what they are using to deny requests.

if DOGE doesn't answer in 20 days, the FOIA law permits you to sue in court. There are more than a few lawyers in DC who will be happy to help you with that. Just sayin'.

Yes, several people have managed it, a lot of people have, but when a lot of people are hitting it at once, it seems to slow way down. Enough people have but individual misses are probably fine. Check out the other responses though.
