I must confess i hate them with a passion. They make it easy to spill drinks and (whisper it) recycling plastic doesn't actually do much for the environment.

You don’t hear so much whinging about tethered bottle caps these days, do you? It’s almost as if it was a sensible policy that pretty much everyone managed to get used to rather quickly.
