A Groundbreaking Waka Discovery in Rēkohu (Chatham Islands)
Over 450 artefacts from a carved waka have been unearthed in the Chatham Islands.

CIEHF CAC member, Maui Solomon, says the find aligns with Moriori oral traditions recorded in the 19th century.
