The fash are incredibly insecure about art because they hold certain types of art (Graeco-Roman sculpture, Renaissance paintings, early 19th century classical music) as evidence of white superiority but they can't paint, sculpt or compose music, and almost everyone who can despises them.

They often also love it not as it is, but in their reactionary (as in idealized fantasy form of the past which never happened) form. See the Graeco-Roman sculptures. Which in their time where painted (and often in colors which would quickly dismiss the ideas of 'whiteness' of the roman people).

I'd say that also holds true with people who truly appreciate those types of art -- when JD Vance walked into a Nat'l Symphony Orchestra concert a few days ago, the audience loudly booed (the Classical listener's equivalent of rioting and setting the venue on fire)

Also when they say "art" and "beauty" they mean whiteness. They mean aesthetics that are historically white and strict gender stereotypes enforced by christian colonialist ideals. They don't care about actual beauty or style or art or soul because they traded theirs away.

Vaporwave was so fascinating as it arose around 2013ish. The Greco-Roman sculpture was always a part of it as a *deconstruction* of traditional art history survey and aesthetics.

I love mocking the AI bros already! Maybe I should be engaging with their slop to call the people in it inbred as hell lol! I know there are a lot of legit artists that can and will circlejerk to them cause it's just cathartic and fun!
