Visiting Japan and finding out there are like years and years of Japanese Tom and Jerry cartoons that never made it to the west broke something deep in my brain.

Japan's love of Tom & Jerry really needs to be studied. It's the only Cartoon they seem to bring up when talking about American animation (That & Wacky Races)
