Pretty sure that everyone’s favourite pollster just sat next to me on a train.

I wonder if I should strike up a conversation. “So, er, I think you blocked me on twitter for asking a question about statistics.”

Tempted to have a loud one-sided telephone conversation. “he defined Britishness HOW?! Good Lord what a nincompoop!”

I asked him if he actually believes the things he says about immigration and Britishness to be true. I fear this question may have displeased him.

You should ask him why his poll results differ so much from the pollsters with a good reputation.

He was already getting off the train but I don’t think he was in the mood to continue the conversation.

There was then a debate among the passengers in the carriage. Who was that man? What did you ask him? Why was he so defensive?

I'm surprised that he is this side of the Atlantic
