A *lot* of us knew 20 years ago, and we said it *many* times publicly. But Dems, unlike Republicans, shunned their grassroots and ignored the need to build up their own messaging channels, instead relying on the "mainstream media," which was a huge mistake. Now we're suffering the consequences.
