Also remember the republicans did not allow Democrats to even reword this 7 minutes before this passed the motion to recommit, see image, failed 211(D) to the 215(R) with 5(R) and 2(D) not voting(second image), those 7 people could have allowed the bill to have amendments

Americans overwhelmingly support voter ID laws. Some polls regarding this exceed 80%. Voting against them in a swing district would be political malpractice.

Americans also support expanding access to voter ID/automatic registration. Focus on that, instead of pissing into the wind.

This legislation goes WAY beyond "voter ID laws."

The GOP will spin it as a Voter ID bill. I don't care how many people you stick on CNN or MSNBC to clarify what it actually says, that message will not get through because the average voter has the attention span of a goldfish.
