Thats likely it. Bluesky doesn't have a bad algorithm. It has a highly customizable algo, which for many used to fixed automatic ones, it is hard to get used to, but trust me, this site is a hell of a lot better

I think for average users who don't understand this nor want to go through it, it might be hard to understand or do it which is understandable
I also think its okay to criticize things even if you like it. I think if Bluesky themselves did adjust it slightly it could make a better overall experien
There are literal guides out there as well as automatic things you can subscribe to like those block lists. There is no excuse here and you know that. Im disappointed in you

Some people don't do well with comstomizable systems & just want stuff setup for them.
So they much rather have something that all set up.
it's also quite hard to get people a leave anything their accustomed with. social media included 🤔

But i've got experience with people young and old who have a really hard time adjusting to this stuff that feels natural to me
