The idea of controlling a man's body apparently seemed too complicated for Republican state Rep. Brian Seitz to grasp—even though he had just testified in support of legislation to control women's bodies.

With less than 24 hours' notice, nearly 100 people traveled from across Missouri to protest HJR 73, a proposed constitutional amendment that would ban abortion with limited exceptions.
At this week's committee hearing—which was supposed to be an open forum for constituents to voice their opinions—committee chair Rep. Holly Jones allowed only a handful of people to speak.
Afterward, citizens were permitted to approach the microphone solely to state whether they were in favor or opposed—nothing more. According to Jones, 'We are not going to spend and belabor the points of either side all evening.'
We have let men slide under the “he must not get it” banner for way too long. I believe we have let it slide so long because the realization that they are doing it on purpose shows us how cruel and disgusting they really are.
This and “can’t the women just swallow a camera like they do for surgery to see what’s going on with the fetus” will always be at the top of my list of reason why stupid ass men should never be allowed to make decisions for ANYONE.. including other stupid ass men
