Do I have it right the robots are now plagiarizing each other and its somehow tanking the economy

DeepSeek made orders-of-magnitude leaps in all of these areas. (That means it was 10x to 100x more efficient.) Instead of gathering all that costly data, it _generated_ much of the necessary data — often using prior LLMs like Llama (Meta’s open source tool) and Qwen (an open source Chinese tool).

Basically China made an AI open source for $5 million that puts all the US ones on their asses in computation as well as lower energy costs. They run on gaming computers instead of data banks.

A funny thing happens when LLM output trains the robot, "model collapse." In this paper (written by AI proponents), the bot starts with a discussion of Revival Architecture, and ends up babbling about jackrabbits by the 9th iteration.

To begin with, those 'AI' robots are anything BUT 'intelligent'.
Although, it's obvious plagiarizing and tanking the economy is very likely part of their 'programming'. That seems to be the ONE thing Big Tech does exceedingly well.
