My 91 year-old mother attended Pembroke, and later got a masters degree in library science. But she now donates money to Riley Gaines, purposely misgenders my transgender son, and regularly mails him anti-transgender literature. A steady diet of Fox News destroyed her brain.

That’s sad, I’m sorry. I feel so blessed that my 88 year old mother, also well educated, left the Republican party due to Trumpism and hasn’t looked back. I suspect the difference is that she refused to be in the Den if my Dad had Fox on, and after he passed away she only watched baking shows.
