I, too, engage in purpose-driven Nextdoor posts. I also don’t have the app installed and it’s incredibly burdensome to post without the app. It helps me to avoid engaging with it because nothing good comes of it besides offloading curtains.

You can use the app on a web browser, too, if you don't want to install it on your phone. The app is slow so it has some negative reviews in the app store, but it's fine, it just needs a little patience.
