takes a little time to get it calibrated but if you look up any popular character + fanart you get a host of sites to block

I have a problem with perspective/posing because it's never accurate. There are always structural issues that people miss because it looks 'realistic' enough that your brain fills in the issues. Even as a reference it's garbage and beginners will just end up incorporating the mistakes into the image

Agreed, but for a newer artist, it can be a good learning point. Perspective in art is RIDICULOUSLY hard to master, to the point where lots of people just wing it. Using a tool like that can help you get started with the idea so learning perspective on things can get easier over time
