This was the only time I was able to get a photo of it; they do this ALL THE TIME and it's hilarious. They especially do it when there are free perches, but all the finches have decided that there is one MAGIC PERCH that is the PERFECT PERCH and no other perch will do.

Feeding house finches is a genuinely rewarding experience; observing their behaviour is better than any sitcom, soap opera, or drama, and also cheaper and has no ads or reruns. 😂
