- we aren't taught to do service well
- not only is service not generally rewarded, GOOD service is esp not rewarded
- but bad service IS rewarded w fewer asks

I have no idea!! But I've been thinking about this question for like 2 months now. The answer is not service shaming, I can tell you that.
