it's so fucking hot why can't the election be in march or like early april. i halfway wanted to just get some ice cold waters to attract people to talk to me about the GOAT but I was told there might be some election laws im violating by doing so. i did get to talk to some undecided voters tho

NYS electioneering laws state that while the polls are in progress you cannot electioneer within 100 feet of the building or in the building - NYS 2025 Election Law section 8-104

and its funny cause once you get someone who's willing to listen, they're really easy to convince because all of the big flagship policies are easy sells, even to 1%ers. cause it turns out normal people don't like to feel like everyone around them is struggling, even if they themselves aren't
