Yeah, but suspending for how long? We've seen this before where advertisers hop off Twitter for a few weeks and then wander back in once the firestorm burned down.

There are likely also other advertisers who either didn't announce their reasoning or were just too small to show up on radars. This list is all rather large entities.

we can certainly squint and suspect that they didn't want to lose quarterly ad budgets already allotted, quietly shifting and re-submitting (even coordinating timing with Twitter), don't know how anything could be confirmed without a direct leak from either side

It’s always interesting seeing how much racism/anti-semitism/extremism capitalism can stand before drawing the line and pulling out.
