One can only conclude, Trump's deportation plan is a way to increase imports of fruits & vegetables, that his tariffs will make expensive, to assist all big businesses who have enjoyed price gouging, to continue.

Thank you for raising awareness of this issue. I have an uncle who works for the USDA, and my impression from him and his wife is that many workers in the meat processing industry are immigrants. I am deeply concerned about how deportations could impact the food supply.

Trump’s stated plan is to get criminals out first, which is a good idea, and secure the border and make people follow legal entry paths. If people are game fully employed, in a vital economic sector, there should be a path to citizenship though.I doubt he will mess with labour supply for agriculture
