Corbyn wanted to make Tories squirm so withheld support for remain, Cameron wanted to suppress anti Euro wing of Tories, UKIP had open field, NO ONE thought of the nation.
I cannot comprehend why Starmer is appearing to hesitate to rejoin.
I understand the UK may have to re~negotiate and give up some things but surely the massive economic benefits would outweigh any negatives?
He doesn’t want any big fights to disrupt what they’re trying to do in government and he doesn’t want to upset the white working class in the North who voted Leave. I would suggest both tactics are wrong.
The 2019 ‘Get Brexit done’ was one of the most consequential election in British history. Although clearly no one was going to vote for Corbyn as PM, another hung parliament with Labour as the largest party wouldn’t have gone for the absolute shite EU-UK TCA that was signed off.

That concrete 30% is always interesting to me. It's ubiquitous across the world and with so many polls. It seems that whatever happens it's impossible to shed it.
I'm almost sure that in a year polls will show that "30% of Americans are happy with Trump's administration".
To be honest I think it's equally divided between this and people completely disinterested in politics and understanding the current situation by the way of the person that screams the loudest.
Now is the perfect time for at an edging closer to Europe, I don’t know anyone who looks at America without horror on their face. Unless you’re a Telegraph columnist of course?!
