Because whilst it's satisfying to see them fail, Truss (Lettuce Crash), Johnson (Brexit) and now Trump are costing us Billions.
and if there are, they aren't dumb enough to TELL him anything he doesn't want to hear. the very best one could hope for is some of them doing things to alleviate damage and hope he doesn't notice.
