Being able to do anything about the situation on the ground is another thing entirely.

Right now, without US support, EU doesn't really have the men materials and political will to do anything for Ukraine without nuclear risk.

So, what's Kallas' next position going to be?

The EU and the UK are in a very tough place; it's roughly five years minimum from today before we can make up the arms deficit: the missing items only the US manufactures that we have to replace.
In the meantime EU/UK has to keep RF out of the rest of Ukraine.

How are they intending to do that?
