Once arrested it forces a process that results in the Feds taking custody. The circumstances of the arrest are immaterial in deportation proceedings.

The entire bill is designed to allow states, local police departments, or even individual officers to set up a deportation pipeline.

It bypasses sanctuary laws all together.

Likely ICE will set up shop at local jails to immediately take custody of people arrested under this regime.

To be fair that statement is 100% accurate. I say that as a lifelong Democrat. The party needs to wake up but that is not good for their careers. Most dems in congress defer to Nancy Pelosi and the old guard as opposed to actually making meaningful changes. Look what happened to AOC.
