Maybe same reason Fortiche's work is on Netflix - they may make the show in house, but they'll still want/need a distributor

Oooook, does that imply Nickelodeon has a say in how the show turns out or about the timeframe which they should complete the show and such? Because I thought that was the main reason why they decided to become "independent"...
