I was teaching students from Bangladesh (but in Canada) when he died. The students were so grief stricken that they sent me sympathy cards. I was born in England and am a Boomer so I suppose that they saw me as his kin, or something. Btw, they were lovely people.

I realized today that George wrote the theme song for MAGA. It’s a protest song about 1960s excesses but is so relevant even now. “I Me Mine” says so much about current events.
