Something terrible happened in Nantes. I was pretty burnt that day & didn't realise my guitar wasn't on its (very old & worn) strap properly, & it fell. And hit the polished concrete floor. With a sickening crack.

I once clumsily knocked my custom-shop Les Paul off a guitar stand and it made a sickening sound when the headstock broke. I nearly wept and, yes, the guilt was terrible.
A good luthier did a beautiful repair. No trace.
Once snapped my Martin-000 neck while it was in a soft case. Never, ever again. Still makes me shudder.
Nice string-through bridge. Not seen many of those...
