A guy I worked with in Washington DC went there with his dad l. 5 minutes left dad figured it was over and they were freezing. They got just outside the entrance and Lambeau went wild. It wasn’t until the 10 pm news that night they learned they walked out on the greatest play in Packers history!
I watched the snowplow game on the breakroom TV at ft Lee afs in 1982 , it was a blizzard, dolphins patriots, no one could move the ball , a convict on work release was clearing the yardlines and he made a detour to clean off a spot so the patriots could make the field goal , final pats 3 fins 0
I watched The Ice Bowl. Jerry Kramer pushing Jethro Pugh through the snow into the end zone so Bart Starr could score. It has been the “snow bar” game for me since then. I also watched the 1958 championship “greatest game of the century”. Bills Ravens reminded me of that one. Great day of football!
Pete Hegseth is a creep! He says he’ll “bring the warrior culture back to the DOD,” he really means is “the good old boy culture.” Watch the 2020 movie Promising Young Woman. His mom was right—he’s “an abuser of women,”and his vision would roll back decades of progress for women in the military.”
In Canada we have the Grey Cup (west vs east final) played in November. It is often played in Provinces that are extremely cold and sometimes in snow/blizzard conditions 🥶🥶
The NFL has pivoted hard since those 70’s teams (I grew up watching them too) on rules changes emphasizing skill positions in pursuit of offense for entertainment value.
Those skills suffer in snow bowls. Which is kinda the thing at playoff time considering the NFL is a winter sport.
There were some good ones. The one that most stands out in my mind was the Snowplow Game where the Patriots' snowplow operator was called in to clear a spot on the snowy field specifically for New England kicker John Smith so he could kick the game-winning field goal to give the Patriots a 3–0 win
This game is going to be up there with the classic Eagles/Lions snow game for me. Then I didn’t really care who won as a Detroit area girl who lives in the Philly area now, but GO BIRDS

Real men don't let a little snow and cold put them inside.
