Thanks, and I enjoyed the blog post. As I'm only accessing Scotland's People from home, I miss the opportunity to browse through the pages of the Census and get a grasp of how it is constructed. I'm a big fan of browsable collections for better understanding!

Can you access a FamilySearch library/affiliate library? If up to 1891 you can browse the census images online.

1911 and 1921 unfortunately, so tied to ScotlandsPeople. Also don't think our local FS centre reopened after Covid, or at least they don't respond to emails or phonecalls. We could really do with an affiliate library here.
